District Commissioner's Notes

At the St George’s Day celebration at the college and parade at the town hall it was great to see the District together to renew their promises. Please let me have any feed-back either directly or via your section ADC. Next year I propose to hold a St George’s Day Celebration with Activity bases. With some feedback I have already received on this year’s event I have had some offers of help but we will need a substantial team to make it work.

Well done to the 1st Leyton on their Show a very enjoyable evening’s entertainment. Proud to see so many of our district supporting the County Show. I know that planning has already started on the next district show, which will be a the Chingford Assembly hall.

I am looking forward to the MAD – Activity Day 16th /17th May, where the theme is Christmas, at the Mally and I hope you will have booked places for your youngsters on this very enjoyable day.

I am still seeking help with managing the District, District Secretary, Public Relations and various other projects. If you know of anyone or would like to help please let me know.
