County Gala – 27th March
Congratulations to the 4 Beaver Scouts who made up the team for the County
Swimming Gala, Faye Curley (10th Leyton) Jack Capner, Craig Dibble and
Thomas GoldBart (21st Walthamstow) represented our district and finished
in 2nd place! A great result!
St George’s Activity Day
It was great to see so many Beaver Scouts having such a fun time. It was
also a privilege to invest Kim as a Beaver Scout Leader.
County Fun Sports Day – 12th June 2010
We have the opportunity to take a team of 20 Beaver Scouts from the district
to this event, to be held at the County H.Q. Wanstead Park Road, Ilford.
Time 10am – 3pm. Cost £2 per Beaver. Any Colonies interested
in coming along should contact me no later than 31st May.
Environment Afternoon – 13th June 2010
Venue: Harvey Hall, Ive Farm Lane, Off Church Road, Leyton. Time 1-4pm.
Cost £2 per Beaver Scout. A fun afternoon for all the Beaver Scouts
in the district, activities to include recycling projects, models, bird
feeders, games etc.
This is a great opportunity for your Beaver Scouts to gain the Environment
Group Award. The badge is included in the price of the afternoon.
Hope to see you and your Colony there.
District Beaver Sleepovers booked for 8th / 9th October at the
Mallinson.
The number of 7+ years Beaver Scouts in your Colony required for our next
meeting on the 7th June please.
Next District Beaver Scout Meeting to be held at the Mallison
on 7th June, please make sure your Colony is represented.
