BeaverScout Sleepovers
Thirty one Beavers had a great time at the sleepovers held at the Mallinson
centre over the week-end of 3rd to 5th October. A great atmosphere and
a fun time was enjoyed by both Beavers and Leaders.
Many thanks to all the leaders, who worked so hard before, and during
the sleepovers to make them a success. Also, a big thank you to Rosemarie
for organising the cooking.
County Beaver Scout Quiz
Six Beaver Scouts represented the district at the County Quiz on Saturday
11th October. Leah, Jennifer, Sean and Jermaine from the 10th Leyton together
with Billy and Kaine from the 1st Leyton. All six Beavers Scouts had a
good fun afternoon and were a credit to the District. They each received
a certificate for taking part in the event.
Carol Service 5th December
All Beaver Scouts and their leaders are invited to attend the District
Cub-Scout carol Service to be held on Friday 5th December at St Andrews
Church, Walthamstow, commencing at 7 pm. A collection will be taken during
the service to be shared between Guide Dogs for the blind and Waltham
forest Night Shelter. Do hope you will be able to come along with your
Beaver Scouts.
