5-a-side Football
A good sunny day. 11 teams took part from 9 packs. Winners were a team
from the 14th with the runners up a team from the 21st W’stow. Loosing
semi-finalist were teams from 3rd W’stow and 1st Leyton.
GLNE Cub Scout Challenge – WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS. A combined team
of 6 cubs WON! Thanks to Chris N, Pat T, Ben W for running the team.
Cub Quiz.
4 packs supported this event - 1st Leyton, 7th W’stow, 10th HH Leyton,
21st W’stow.
A team of 6 cubs was found from within these packs and will represent
WFS at the county in November. Thanks to Steve for running the event and
thanks to the 10th Leyton for the use of their HQ. The winning two teams
from the county comp will then enter for the first time a regional competition.

Do not forget you Pack flags.
GLNE are still collecting for the Guide Dogs, up until Christmas –
if you have any old jewellery, phones, foreign coins, old English coins,
keys, ink cartridges and watches please bring along to the Carol Service
or let me have them anytime to pass on.
A good Leaders meeting was held in October, thanks. We were united.
