Commissioner's Notes
Those that are not attending local Remembrance Day Services are
welcome to join me at Lloyds Park to march down to the Town Hall
for the service. On this occasion we will be parading the District
Flag and any group flags if you bring them along. Congratulations
to all those who receive the Jack Petchy Award. The Medallion presentations
take place on Thursday 12th November. Members of the 1st Leyton
are putting on some entertainment for the County.
I feel it’s a bit early but I wish you all a Happy Christmas.
The post of District Secretary remains vacant, which urgently needs
filling. If you are willing to volunteer or know someone who you
might think would welcome an approach please let me know.
