1st LEYTON GANG SHOW: - 20, 26 & 27 March 2010.
ST ANDREWS CUP: - 24 April 2010.
ST GEORGES DAY PARADE: - 25 April 2010.
SURVIVIAL SKILLS: - September 2010.

Next Meeting: - 7th December 2009 8:00pm, be held at Bulwer Road, Leytonstone.

Thank you to all those that attended our last section meeting in September, all Groups please try to have a representative at the next meeting so you don’t miss out on events and news.

Our next Section event is a Pioneering Day on 15 November at Bulwer Road – this is open to Scouts of all ages and abilities. Our aim is to help the Scouts through their Pioneering Badge. Please bring a packed lunch, hot drinks will be provided. We will have skilled leaders but all help would be appreciated,

We have once again booked the pool at Forest School for the Scouts Swimmers Badge on 30 January 2010; please bring your Scouts to get them through the various stages of the badge.

The annual 5 A Side Football will be held again in 2010 at Leytonstone School, this is a great event and is not just for the boys, we have had girl only teams, If your troop doesn’t have enough for a team but still want to play, send them along we can always make up a scratch team on the night.

It was nice to get each groups summer news at the last meeting, I look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting and hearing how your programmes and badge work are progressing.

Leaders Required
Walthamstow Scout Section requires Males or Females to become Warranted Assistant Leaders to work with Scouts 10 to 14 years.

No experience necessary and support for training will be given. Should have a good sense of fun and enjoy working with children.
